Where it wins: platform coverage and the surrounding toolset. If you want one subscription across phone, desktop and web with 4K recording and hardware remote support, this is the mature option.
What to check for your case: which scroll mode and export quality sit in which tier, since the free tier's watermark and resolution limits are part of the design.
PromptSmart
PromptSmart describes VoiceTrack as speech-driven scrolling that pauses when you improvise and resumes when you return to the script, with recognition processed locally without internet. Its Starter Pack includes iOS/Android apps, Windows/macOS Studio Edition, web editing, sync and remote control at $9.99 monthly or $99.99 yearly. Its site offers a seven-day trial. Where it wins: a proven, patented voice-follow inside a native app. If you specifically want speech-tracked scrolling with the feel and integration of a platform app rather than a browser, this is the established choice.
What to check for your case: the language coverage of the tracking for your language, and which features sit behind the subscription — the store listings are explicit about both.
SpeakFlow
SpeakFlow offers browser prompting, voice-driven Flow, collaboration, remote control and an overlay for reading beside other applications. Its yearly pricing lists limited Flow on Free and unlimited Flow on Plus at $15 per month billed yearly. Plus includes recording/storage, script collaboration and API access. The monthly view lists Plus at $19 per month. Confirm the plan and platform needed for your workflow.
Where it wins: teamwork and live-call use. If scripts pass between writers and presenters, or a producer needs to drive the prompter from another device, SpeakFlow is built for exactly that shape of work.
What to check for your case: it's a cloud product by design — scripts live in its workspace and it expects a connection — which is the right trade for collaboration and worth being deliberate about for solo offline work.

Where it honestly doesn't win: there are no native apps — if you want App Store integration, platform widgets or an Apple Watch remote, the incumbents above have it and we don't. Voice features depend on the browser's speech recognition, so quality varies by platform and language, and Firefox does not currently provide the speech-recognition API used here — there you get a working prompter on the other two modes, not the voice-follow. And it's early: the products above have years of ecosystem around them that a newer tool simply hasn't had time to grow.
